I'm in Michigan and my son will be a 9th grader soon. My son goes to Wayne-Westland school district but he says he wants to go to Plymouth-Canton school district. His grandpa (my dad) lives in the district my son goes to and does not speak english well. Could i write down my dad's house address during registration and just drop my son off to school myself? My dad said it would be alright but i'm not sure... I'm scared that the police might come and say something like ''Does the kid live here''. I don't want to get in trouble... Is this possible?? My sophomore nephew lives right next to my dad. So there is a bus stop really near. It's not because my child wants to... The teachers in our current district are horrible. The school doesn't teach anything. The students have no tolerance. The teachers give their students better grades for nothing just so they can call themselves a good school.
